How can I check if this mount is compatible with my TV/monitor?
First, confirm there are wood studs within your wall. Only one stud is needed for securing the mount. It can also be attached to concrete or brick walls, though anchors will be necessary for those surfaces.
Secondly, ensure the weight of your TV/monitor does not surpass 44lbs/20kg and that it is at least 13 inches in size.
Thirdly, examine the VESA pattern, which is measured as horizontal × vertical. The distance between the mounting holes at the back of your TV/monitor needs to be less than 8" (200mm) horizontally and 8" (200mm) vertically.
Finally, check the space around the 4 mounting holes on your TV to make sure there are no cables that might interfere with the mounting plate.
