1. Optimal time for measurement:

(1) Fasting plasma glucose (Ensure a minimum of 8 to 10 hours of fasting, excluding water).

(2) 2 hours post meal (The countdown starts from the first bite).

2. Standard range:

* Unit conversion guideline:

Blood glucose levels can be measured in two units: mmol/L and mg/dL. These two units can be converted to one another, with the conversion factor being 18. To convert mmol/L to mg/dL, multiply the former (mmol/L) by 18; conversely, to convert from mg/dL to mmol/L, divide the latter (mg/dL) by 18.

3. Test sample preparation:

(1) Wait for the alcohol to completely evaporate, as residual alcohol can skew the results.

(2) The initial blood sample collected should not be used for testing, as it may contain tissue fluid.

4. Instructions for use:

Ensure that the blood is placed close to the edge of the test strips to allow for effective absorption by the test paper. Apply the blood to the side of the paper that is near a small port on the upper left.
Then, tilt the device at a 45-degree angle towards this suction port.

5. Error margin:

There is a potential deviation of about 15 to 20.

Variations in the testing results can occur due to improper handling, dietary changes, or emotional factors. The testing error from the blood glucose meter is less than 20 and does not significantly influence patient care.
