Each piece of hardware is meticulously fashioned from solid brass, showcasing exquisite detail and substantial weight. The plate is made from a 1.5 mm thick sheet of brass, engineered to lay perfectly flat against the wall.
Vintage brass is known as a 'living' finish due to its interaction with the surrounding air and moisture, which causes it to develop a deeper tone (particularly in areas that are often touched). We have intentionally aged the finish through handling, so it carries an antique look right out of the box.
