How to connect the SG90 micro servo to an Arduino Uno?
The procedure for connecting to the Arduino is quite simple. The servo motor is equipped with three wires. The brown wire is designated for the ground, which should connect to the Arduino's ground.
The red wire serves as VCC, which usually requires a voltage within the range of 4.8 to 7.2 volts. So, connect it to the 5V pin on the Arduino.
The final wire, the orange one, functions as the control signal that must be a PWM signal with a 20-millisecond period, also referred to as 50 Hertz
and a duty cycle of 1 to 2 milliseconds, translating to 5 to 10 percent.
A pulse width of 1 millisecond corresponds to the -90° position of the motor's shaft, 1.5 milliseconds indicates the 0° position, and
2 milliseconds points to the +90° position. This allows for a total shaft rotation of 180°.
