Peeling fruits and vegetables is quick and straightforward with the Rotato Express. It only removes the skin without wasting any of the nutritious parts of the vegetable. The Rotato Express is simple and safe to operate; even a child can use it. Its non-slip base ensures it stays securely on your counter or work surface. The device comes with a small plastic knife, conveniently stored under the base. This knife is specifically designed for easily removing potato eyes or other imperfections.

Helpful tips

Before you start peeling, place a paper towel under the Rotato to catch the peels.

When selecting items to peel, choose firm, blemish-free fruits and vegetables that are symmetrically shaped. Items higher than 5.5” should be cut in half to ensure the Rotato Express can grip them securely.

How to peel fruits and vegetables

1. Center the food at the bottom of the food holder and press gently
2. Lower the top food holder until it grips the food and holds it securely
3. Use the height adjustment handle to lift the cutting arm so it rests on top of the food to be peeled. WARNING: Do not touch the cutting blade... it is extremely sharp!
4. While gently pressing down on the top food holder, press the power button. The skin will peel off in a clean, continuous curl

How to remove the peeled food

1. Lift the top food holder away from the food and raise it to the top of the support column.
2. Hold the food, and using a gentle back-and-forth motion, pull the food from the bottom of the food holder towards you. Avoid pulling the fruit or vegetable straight up from the bottom of the food holder. You don't want to accidentally swing your hand into the holder's spikes. WARNING: Do not touch the cutting blade... it is extremely sharp.
3. Remove any deep potato eyes using the small plastic knife. Use the same knife to eliminate imperfections on fruits and vegetables.
