Skyflame Lava Rock Stones
These essential lava stones feature a smooth profile and regular shape, accented with specks of black and white that give them a unique, standout quality.
Skyflame lava rock can endure extreme temperatures from fireplaces and fire pits without crumbling or exploding, producing a clean-burning flame that does not emit smoke, soot, or harmful gases, while generating two to three times the heat of manufactured fuel logs, making them more energy-efficient and cost-effective.
HELP REDUCE FIRE GLASS COSTS
Lava Rock is cost-effective compared to fire glass. You can apply a one-inch thick layer of lava stone to cover your burner pan. This reduces the glass depth by an inch. This is suitable for any fire pit or fireplace, regardless of size, and results in significant savings compared to using fire glass everywhere.
However, using lava stone as a base material has a downside. It may lead to some soot buildup on your fire glass. So occasionally, you might need to remove the fire glass and rinse off the soot. Be sure to let the glass dry completely before laying it back over the lava stone.
